Gem List

The Gem List

Can be found in-game using the command: /gems

PLEASE NOTE Because Gem effects are now dynamic, based on your level, the Gem List table below only contains the detailed effects of each gem, but for accurate effects based on your level, please refer to the in-game gem list by using the command /gems to see the percentages that apply to your current level.

Which gems are effective for your level?

  • Level 1 – Grade ^3
  • Level 250 – Grade ^4
  • Level 1,000 – Grade ^5
  • Level 2,500 – Grade ^6
  • Level 5,000 – Grade ^7
  • Level 7,500 – Grade ^8
  • Level 10,000 – Grade ^9

Equipping or Using a gem that is a higher grade than your effective level, will downgrade its power to match your level.

For example: You are level 1800 and are using Grade ^6 gems in your gear. They will have the effect of a grade ^5, until you reach level 2500.
From that moment on, the grade ^6 gem’s effect will automatically reflect a grade ^6 gem.

Lower grade gems are not automatically upgraded as you level up & should be upgraded manually or replaced.

Fusion Machine

The Fusion Machine

Can be used for gem fusion, to create a new gem from two other gems of the same grade.
By default the outcome is a random gem type. Exceptions are for certain fixed combinations (type the command /fusion for gem fusion list).

Operating the Fusion Machine, to create new gems, also costs Fusion Points, which are stored as a resource.
You can get Fusion Points randomly from normal battles, as a reward from completing Quests, by trading and also in the way described below:

The Fusion Machine is also the place where you can take unwanted gems and shadows to throw into the machine and receive Fusion Points in return.
These FP are used for various things, such as:

  • Using them in the Gem Forge
  • Upgrading Mythic gear to Ancestral or Godly
  • And for Conquests.

The first accessible Fusion machine is located at 2,7 Lair of Temptation. You may enter the zone at level 200.

What level do I have to be to throw different gem grades into the Fusion Machine?

  • Grade 1,2 – Level 200, as soon as you can enter Lair of Temptation
  • Grade 3 – Level 500
  • Grade 4 – Level 1,500
  • Grade 5 – Level 3,500
  • Grade 6 – Level 5,500
  • Grade 7 – Level 9,500
  • Grade 8 – Level 25,000
  • Grade 9 – Level 100,000

Gem Forge

The Gem Forge

It is located at (3,2) in Bladeforge and was created by the old Dwarven Overlords. The Forge can still be operated to attempt an upgrade on a gem.

It requires an amount of fusion pieces to work. As the Gem Forge has not been maintained for decades, failures are very often and this results in gems being downgraded or destroyed. The chance grows when a player has acquired some forging masteries.
The chance to gain such masteries increases with the gem grades of successful attempts.

  • Base chances by gem grade: (30, 25, 20, 16, 12, 9, 6, 4)%
  • With special profession: (35, 30, 25, 21, 16, 13, 10, 10)%
  • Fusion points needed by grade: 30, 80, 200, 500, 800, 1500, 2500, 4500

Example:
A player wants to upgrade a *** gem to grade 4. Their mastery is 10%. The chance is 20% + (20% * 10%) = 22%.
If successful, this will cost 200 Fusion Points. Failure can also randomly result in lost Fusion Points.
